Why are some people corrupt? Who do we have so many scams??
I think and think. I have concluded GREED and lack of integrity as the root cause of corruption - this greed is to possess much more than any body else, to be most powerful. Having one comfortable house, one great car is not enough. This person wants more and more. He is also very intelligent to realize all sorts of loop holes in the law of the land , manipulate people and situations to fulfill his GREED and turn those into his advantage.
But in my 61 years of non-momentous life journey , I have experienced that these extreme greed is caught and punished by the law of the land or by the unseen hands of providence - ALWAYS WITHOUT FAIL. Quicker the climb on the stairs of corruption, greater the fall.
